    For gases that have mixed components, we enter the details of the concentrations into the MSDS after we have calculated the hazard/danger classification criteria for the concentrations of the components.

    The classification is based on the Public Notice of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the "Criteria for the Classification/Marking of Chemical Substances and Material Safety and Health Data Sheets," and the original text of the public notice entitled "Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS)."

    For example, although 100% H2 is classified as a flammable gas (Class 1, high-pressure gas: compressed gas), if the H2 concentration is lower than 5.5% when it is mixed with N2, it is classified as high-pressure gas (compressed gas) only.

    Yes.

    According to Article 11 (Preparation Principle), Chapter 4 of the "Criteria for the Classification/Marking of Chemical Substances, and Material Safety and Health Data Sheets" (Public Notice No. 2016-29) from the Ministry of Employment and Labor, marking the gas content (lower limit – upper limit) within the ±5% content range is allowed, provided that the content of the component is indicated. We indicate gas contents with the concentration range only when the gases fall under the same hazard/danger classification criterion.

    If you suspect a gas leak, identify the leaking point by checking on the conditions of the valve and jointing parts. If the valve is not fully closed, close it fully to stop the leak. Then, ventilate the place and reopen the valve. If the gas leaks while the valve is fully closed, move the cylinder to a well-ventilated place and contact us so that we can promptly take the necessary actions.

    To release gas from a cylinder, remove the protective cap—the plastic material used to wrap the valve—and turn the hand valve counterclockwise. However, as most of the gas products that we supply have high pressure, for your safety, make sure to mount a regulator before you open the valve. Never open the safety valve that is placed opposite the threaded valve inlet hole.

    Store gas cylinders in cool, dry, and well-ventilated places. Avoid direct sunlight, fire sources, and occurrences of static electricity. In addition, as gases have different characteristics depending on components, make sure to read the warning signs of the products that you purchase and be fully knowledgeable of the MSDS before storing and using gases.

    As our company deals with high-pressure gases, we conform to laws such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act, acts related to firefighting services, and acts related to environmental and water quality control. In addition, we have established and implemented internal safety rules and provide safety training to our employees.

    Yes, you may. If you wish to observe our processes, you must apply for a visit schedule by providing our overseas sales staff the following information: purpose, date/time of visit, and name of visitors. We proceed with our internal approval procedure, decide, and notify you of your approved schedule.
